Follow these steps to create a custom form in Engyn from scratch.
1. Create a Blank Form
Start by navigating to the Form Designer section.
Click the CREATE FORM button in the top right corner of your screen to open the form creation screen
Provide a Title and a brief Description for your form. This will help users understand its purpose.
Choose the Blank option and click START WITH THIS to begin with an empty form layout.
2. Add Form Control
Click the + button to add a control.
Click NEW PROPERTY to define the first field.
Enter a name for your property.
Select the appropriate data type for the control (e.g., text, number, date,etc.) and click NEXT.
Choose the form control from the available list and click NEXT.
Configure the settings for the control, such as required fields or validation rules, as needed.
Once configured, click ADD to insert the control into the form.

3. Add More Controls and Elements
Repeat the process for each additional field you need in your form. This will allow you to build a form that captures all the necessary data.
You can also add content elements like Section Headings, Content Blocks, or Images to enhance the form's structure and visual organisation.
Drag and drop controls to adjust their position as needed.
4. Preview and Publish the Form
Before finalising, preview your form to ensure it looks and functions as expected.
Once satisfied, click Publish Form to make it accessible.
Specify the Form Location and Data Location for where the form will be available and where the data will be stored.
Finally, click Publish to make the form live and ready for use.
